MB7UJ went live at 11:30am on Saturday 13th July 2002

Denis G4KWT posted a number of email's updating all concerned following the switch-on of UJ, one of the first reports can be seen here

MB7UJ sends regular telemetry data reporting on the temperature of the transceiver heatsink as well as the outdoor temperature onsite. Denis produced a .pdf file shortly after switch-on that showed the temperature of the transceiver heatsink and the external temperature onsite. This data in .pdf format can be seen here

Coverage

MB7UJ provides good coverage in Bracknell, Slough, Maidenhead, Wokingham, Reading and surrounding areas. Coverage is also provided along the M4 from Heathrow to Newbury.
