RD moves home (10/11/01)

A collection of photographs from the recent RD site change. The event took place on Saturday 10th November 2001 and commenced at around 10:00. On site was Baz (G8DOR), Ian (G8NXJ), Steve (G4YFB), Cris (G4CCC) and finally myself, Paul (G4HLF).

It was a cold sunny day (hence the woolly hats, no its not some form of TVRG uniform) turning to a wintery drizzle after dark.....

The final connector was fitted around 19:40 (long story that connector best saved for another time) and Steve switched the box on around 20:00.

Steve and Ian get to work on the steelwork under the watchful eye of Chris.

Chris has a go at cutting some of the steelwork.... mind that jacket, looks expensive !!

To the right at the top is Ian, in the middle Steve and Chris work on the aerial brackets whilst Steve takes a rest in the bottom shot.

And before you ask....... no you have not seen any of them on Crossroad's or Coronation Street........

Baz prepares the cabinet ready to take the hardware whilst Chris stops for a coffee.........

Ian works on the top aerial bracket.

Ian, Baz and Steve tighten up the clamps just before the light fades.

And finally....

Steve switches on RD and we all disappear down the pub.
